It was a disappointing start to the Mid-Antrim league for the Year 9 boys, losing out 5-3 to rivals Slemish in their opening game. The boys started brightly and indeed were leading by one goal at half time after an own goal, a strike by Year 8 debutant Dylan Duff and terrific header by substitute Joel Aitchison. After half time our boys became tired and allowed Slemish back into the game, with quick fire goals sealing a 5-3 win for the hosts.
