Pupils, parents and staff gathered together on Friday 27th September to celebrate the success of our students. We welcomed our guest speaker, Miss Fiona Lynas. Her career path saw her work in Thornfield for six years followed by one year in a mainstream primary school before moving into her current Educational Psychologist role which she has fulfilled for the past 11 years.
Ten of those years saw Fiona working closely with Cullybackey College where she became integral to the school, going above and beyond her job requirements in supporting many of our pupils. Her inspiring speech highlighted to pupils that, whilst it was important to develop academically and extra-curricularly, building character and skills like patience, determination and trust held a value not to be underestimated. We congratulate all of our pupils for their hard work and dedication as well as celebrate the successes of the whole school throughout the last academic year.
