Our Year 12 boys narrowly missed out on overall victory at the Year 12 football tournament at Parkhall on Wednesday. After qualifying as group winners, the boys won the semi-final on penalties before losing to St. Killian’s in the same manner in the final.
Well done to our Year 8 boys who took part in their first friendly game of the season against Parkhall.
Year 10 pupils used microscopes today to observe cell organelles. The nucleus of the onion cells can be seen as it has been stained yellow. The development of practical skills is very important as Year 10 start to prepare for GCSE courses in the near future.
