PTA Table Quiz and Pudding Night
Thursday 23rd March saw a good crowd gathered in for the PTA Table Quiz and Pudding Night. Mr Manson took charge of the evening and made a brilliant quiz master. Puddings were enjoyed by all and some managed seconds and maybe even thirds!! There were lots of great prizes up for grabs and first place went to “The Universally Challenged”. “We’re Not Brazils” came second with “The Empty Heads” in a very close third place.
A big thank you to all who came along and made the evening such a success.
PTA Craft Fair
The PTA craft fair took place on Thursday 17th November and we would like to thank all those who helped make it such a success. The hall was a hive of activity with over 30 stalls, for all who came along, to browse through. I am quite sure a few early Christmas presents were purchased!!
Update September 2016
It’s hard to believe that the month of September is almost over. Teachers and pupils are getting well settled into things and that means it’s time for the PTA to get going again too!
Last year we raised £1692.98. This is a fantastic amount of money raised by doing just a few small things and we would like to thank all teachers, parents and pupils who helped us reach this total.
We already have a few things planned, including the “Small Change Jars”, which raised £249.15 last year. Please keep sending your coppers into school – they soon add up. We are also planning a Craft Fair on Thursday 17th November from 7-9pm in the school. If you are a crafter yourself or you know of anyone who is, feel free to contact the school and we will be in touch. Put that date in your diary, come along and you could maybe do some early Christmas shopping!!
Our next meeting is on Wednesday 12th October, 2016 at 7pm and if you would like to get involved in what the PTA does, please come along.
