Year 14 History Trip

Year 14 History students recently visited Belfast as part of their study of the Partition of Ireland. During the course of their visit, they undertook a guided tour of Crumlin Road Gaol and visited historical sites across Belfast including the Ulster Hall, Belfast City Hall, the grave of Unionist leader Edward Carson and the original headquarters of the 1913 Ulster Volunteer Force (UVF). This educational visited allowed pupils to develop and enhance their knowledge of the Home Rule Crisis, 1912-14.
